SMARNA

Privacy

What SMARNA keeps, and how to delete it.

This is a plain-language summary, not the finished policy. SMARNA changed what it keeps on 22 September 2026, and the full policy is being rewritten to match. Everything stated below is accurate; it is simply not yet complete.

The photograph

A photograph you add is sent to SMARNA's extraction service, which sends a copy of the scene to Google Gemini to name what it finds. The photograph is kept afterwards, along with the garment pictures cut from it, so that a closet can be rebuilt and a garment traced back to the picture it came from.

Your closet

The closet itself — the catalogue of what you own, what you have worn and when — lives on your phone.

Usage

Usage is recorded per person: one row for each paid call with its token counts, and, unless you turn it off in Device settings, when the app was opened and for how long.

Deleting everything

Deleting your account removes the photographs, the garment pictures, the renders and the usage records from the service, and the closet from the phone. You can do this at any time from Device settings.

Age

SMARNA is for people 18 and over.
